The Coyote Ridge is located southwest of Muleshoe in central Bailey County on the South Plains of the Texas Panhandle. The property consists mainly of native grasses including blue gramma, buffalo, side oats gramma and some other lesser grasses. There is approximately 220.6 acres of CRP in two tracts on the property. There are two prominent features to the property, one of which is the 80 acre Coyote Lake and the other is a 40 high ridge running through the center of the ranch. Coyote Lake is an alkaline lake which winters thousands of Sandhill Cranes during the winter when the lake has water.
There is a brick home with approximately 1,948 sq ft. plus an enclosed garage of 805 sq ft +/- for a total of 2,753 sq ft of living space. A 25 acre field in the northeast corner has been irrigated with a side roll sprinkler system. Water for this field is provided by an irrigation well equipped with a four inch turbine pump powered by a 300 c.i. Ford power unit. Three domestic wells with submersible electric motors and pumps supply water for the house and livestock on the property through pvc pipelines. The fencing is good to excellent and includes most of the perimeter with cross fencing for divided pastures.

The property has a diversity of wildlife including mule deer, quail, dove, sandhill crane and ducks. All these can be hunted during season. The large lake and unusual ridge on the property sets this scenic ranch apart from many other South Plains ranches. This is an excellent opportunity to own a cattle and hunting property on the High Plains of Texas.
